LaCoude is located several mountains away from Jeremie, Haiti. There are several other mountain villages within 20-30 minutes walking distance, and none have access to medical or dental care.  Each village is populated by several hundred families, all who exist by farming and sharing what they have to survive. Our team has witnessed the tremendous need for physical care. We have seen critical births, infections that turned septic, illnesses that have gone on for far too long, and pain that has been left untreated. Our vision for this community is to establish quality medical and dental care. Together with our team of trained Haitian medical personnel, we can provide quality health and dental care to a population that has never received such care in their lives.

Dr Stevencia, a young pediatrician sponsored through our medical program, will take the lead.  She has top interns and doctors from the hospital in Jeremie who are ready to give their time and services to see patients on rotation.  Her cousin is a dentist eager to help his people and give back to the place where he was born.  With funding assistance to build the clinic, we can collaborate with the Haitian community to build a 2-3 room clinic that will save lives and heal pain for years to come.
