By sponsoring a child at HOPE House you are providing them with lifesaving nutrition, medical care, and love. Each child has multiple sponsors to help cover the cost of their 24/7 care. If your child recovers and returns home to their family, or is placed for adoption, you will be notified as you receive information on a new child who needs your help. Hope House is often the last, desperate hope for these children’s survival.
Education is a luxury that the average Haitian family cannot afford. Most of the educated Haitians that HFAP knows and works with only attended school because of support from sponsors from other countries.
Our Haitian Director, Frentz Neptune, was sponsored by a gentleman in the United States. Without his sponsor, learning English and receiving a high school diploma would have only been dreams. Sponsors have a pro-found impact on their sponsored child’s life. Frentz, like our sponsored children, will forever be thankful for the important role his sponsor played in his life. He will always remember that his sponsor was the first person to ever say he was proud of him.
For only $36 a month you provide tuition, school supplies, school books, and a uniform for your sponsored child. Our students consider their sponsors to be their godparents because of the important investment they make in their lives. They are so thankful for the opportunity to go to school!

Yes! You can expect to receive a new photo and a handwritten letter or drawing twice a year to keep you updated on their life and schooling.
Yes! Your child would love to receive a picture of you, a letter, or an extra monetary gift. Due to shipping constraints we cannot accept physical packages to hand deliver. The children are always thankful to receive extra money. Anything you send over your sponsorship amount will be taken to your child. The children are able to give it to their parents so they can purchase food or other necessities for their family.
Absolutely! Your child would love to meet you! You are considered a godparent to them because you are the one who is providing for their daily needs.
